Portraits.

Your family, honestly seen.

Every family has a version of themselves they rarely see.

Not the one that shows up for school photos or when someone thrusts a phone in your face. The real one - a bit chaotic, deeply familiar, entirely yours. The one that exists in ordinary moments, not orchestrated ones.

That’s what I’m here to find.

The posed smiles are fine. But they don’t show the way your youngest tilts their head when they’re thinking. Or the way your partner leans in without thinking. Or the in-joke that sets everyone off before you’ve started.

These moments exist in every family. My job is to find them.

How it works.

I come to you. Studio lighting, location scouting, zero compromise.

Whether it’s your home, somewhere that holds meaning for your family, or a location we discover together - I bring the full studio setup to you. No fluorescent-lit rooms. No awkward posing against a generic backdrop. Just your people, your space, and light that does them justice.

I work quietly and without fuss. Most families are surprised by how quickly they forget the camera is there. That’s exactly when the good stuff happens.

What You Get.

Within two weeks of your session I’ll invite you to a private viewing appointment where your portraits are revealed for the first time. You’ll choose the pieces that feel most true, with my guidance on sizing, framing and placement.

Your finished portraits arrive ready to hang. Fine art paper prints or canvas, framed in sustainably sourced solid Australian timber. Nothing to assemble. Nothing to figure out. Just art that means something, in the home where it belongs.

I believe a portrait only truly lives when it’s on a wall - seen every day, not archived on a hard drive.

What’s included.

Starting from $1,390

Includes a pre-session conversation, location scouting, the session itself, digital low-res images for sharing, and an 8×10” framed fine art print of your choice.

Additional wall art pieces available at your viewing appointment - framed fine art paper prints and canvas in a range of sizes.

FAQ Portraits

  • Absolutely — in-home sessions are some of my favourites. I bring everything needed, including full studio lighting. All you need to do is be there.

  • Typically between 20 and 50 low-resolution digital files, depending on the size of your family and whether pets are involved — which, for the record, they absolutely can be.

  • Within a week or two of your session, we'll arrange a private viewing appointment — usually via Zoom — where your portraits are revealed for the first time. You'll choose your wall art pieces then, with my guidance on sizing, framing and placement.

  • Typically within three weeks of placing your order.

I work with a small number of families each month across the Geelong and Otway regions.
