Between is a series made in the lanes and streets of Melbourne's CBD during lunch breaks in 2014-2015.

The crowded city moves with purpose.

Caught in the shaft of hard midday light, a figure appears. On the edge of vision. Just as quickly disappears. A brief moment of stillness inside the rush. These are portraits of people you recognise.
